Since you're here, I'll share some factoids that may or may not enhance your day.

1) WBCN played rock for the first time at 10pm on March 15, 1968. I wasn't even a zygote at the time.

2) Many believe the first song to be 'I Feel Free' by Cream. It was actually 'Nasal Retentive Calliope' by Frank Zappa + the Mother of Invention.

3) The first record I ever bought was 'Hi-Infidelity' by REO Speedwagon.
'Tough Guys' is great for air guitaring on a tennis racket. Just ask Jimmy MacLaren.

4) The first concert I ever went to was KISS at the old Boston Garden. I was 10 years old and it floored me into a life surrounded by rock to the point I spent 5 years tour managing rock bands. email me to find out who.

5) I drink way too much coffee. Which doesn't help the paranoia or neurosis at all. I worry about everything and obsess over lists.

6) The Clash and Led Zeppelin are two bands I couldn't live without. Then there's all that british punk from the 70's too...and Johnny Cash.

7) Guns scare me, especially water pistols.

8) Currently, the best Boston band is...The Great Bandini

9) I'm working on 3 books concurrently...I worry that they will be published and nobody will read them.

10) Goodfellas and Beautiful Girls...great movies...I don't watch many.

11) I like to call my show 'The Last Call Club' Just try getting a drink in Boston after 2am without speaking Mandarin. There's something magical about closing down a bar without doing sidework.

13) Cape Cod League baseball is the best baseball in America.
I don't have a favorite team but I like the field in Orleans, MA. (Cardinals).
