!!DISCLAIMER!!: Before you attempt to receive a ringtone, check your carrier and make sure you have the capability for each phone:
For Sprint, you need a color phone with Vision service enabled.
For Verizon Wireless, you need a camera phone with VZW Pix service.
Verizon disabled all phones from WAP downloading, so the only ways to send stuff to Verizon phones are picture messaging and blueTooth. Following are 3 steps to send stuff to Verizon phones through picture messaging:
(1) Download the ringtone, video or wallpaper to your PC.
(2) Send an email to PhoneNumber@vzwpix.com, for example 8005551234@vzwpix.com
(3) Attach the ringtone, video or wallpaper in the email. You can attach multiple items in one email as long as the email can pass Verizon MMS gateway.
If you have problem receiving the email, contact Verizon Wireless.
For ATT Wireless, you need Wireless Internet Services enabled.
For Cingular, you need either MMS ( Picture Messaging) service enabled or Wireless Intenet services enabled. When you upload files, a check box is provided for you to specify if you have Wireless Internet service or not. If the checkbox "Internet available on this phone" is checked, you will have to download the upload via internet. If the checkbox is unchecked, you will receive your upload within the MMS message. Please check or uncheck the checkbox according to your service plan with Cingular, since Cingular may charge you differently.
For T-Mobile, you need either MMS ( Picture Messaging) service enabled or Wireless Intenet services enabled. When you upload files, a check box is provided for you to specify if you have Wireless Internet service or not. If the checkbox "Internet available on this phone" is checked, you will have to download the upload via internet. If the checkbox is unchecked, you will receive your upload within the MMS message. Please check or uncheck the checkbox according to your service plan with T-Mobile, since T-Mobile may charge you differently. According to T-Mobile, you need to send a picture out to enable your MMS service.
For GSM Carriers - International ( including North America and world wide), you need a color phone with WAP service enabled. |
